What is a Bonbon?

A Bonbon is a small one or two bite Chocolate Confection. It is usually composed of a thin tempered chocolate shell that encases various gourmet fillings such as caramels, marshmallows, ganaches, cookie layers, etc. Each Bonbon we offer is like a whole dessert in one bite!

Where Can I Find Your Prices?

All of our Bonbons are $3.25 each! When you come into the shop, you can create your own box of chocolates from the flavors available that day. Our stock may vary daily, but there is always a great selection to choose from.

We sometimes have other confections in stock such as Pate de Fruit Squares, Various Bars, and Caramels. We are often experimenting and trying out new things! What Size Boxes Do You Offer?

Our bonbon box sizes range from small 2-packs up to 25-packs. You can create your own assortment in a 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 12, 16, or 25 pack box size depending on your budget or needs. The cost is based on the number of bonbons at $3.25 per bonbon. The cost of our packaging is built into the price per bonbon, so there are no additional costs for packaging. Just tax! We offer both solid lids for most boxes as well as clear lids to really make the bonbons pop.

Can I Create My Own Custom Bonbon Designs For An Order?

Yes! We do offer custom design options for large orders (42 bonbons or more). We work in trays of 21 bonbons and in order to justify an order, we need a minimum of 2 trays worth of bonbons ordered to pull from our normal production needs.

For custom bonbons, you can work with us on the colors & patterns of the outside of the bonbons, as well as the custom fillings you would like inside the bonbons. For custom work inquiries, please email us at donovanfamilyconfections@gmail.com and include the date the order is needed by, the quantity of boxes needed, the size of the boxes (see size options above), as well as an idea on designs and flavors you may want. We require 3 weeks notice on orders to we can make sure boxes, colors, and ingredients are well stocked. There is an upcharge of $1 per box for custom orders and depending on order size, we may be able to provide a bulk order discount past a certain quantity. Do you offer Vegan/Gluten Free/Nut Free Options?

Over half of our flavors are gluten free and they are labeled on our website and clearly marked in shop with a “GF”. Occasionally, we will have vegan options like our Pate De Fruit squares (set pectin fruit jellies made from all natural fruit purees). We hope to have more vegan options in the future!

We do have some flavors that contain nuts in the shop. We are a small facility and do our best to avoid cross contamination and practice food safety procedures, but we can’t guarantee everything is completely nut free with certainty. Luckily, we have never had issues but we do caution people with severe nut allergies.

Do You Offer Shipping Or Offer Online Ordering?

We do not ship orders or provide online ordering, but we can assist with packaging if you’d like to ship to friends & family yourself. We can add padding to your orders and pack them in sturdier boxes if you inform us that you will be shipping them. We recommend shipping orders in an insulated bubble mailer with a small ice pack.

We also do not offer ordering ahead. You can email us if you have a bulk order request (usually over a couple of dozen boxes) and we can coordinate pre-boxing. Around the holidays, we cannot take pre-orders unless the orders are very large. We operate on a first come, first served basis.
