Hot Cocoa Instructions
Scoop 3 tablespoons of cocoa mix (optional: use scoop provided). Or if you prefer weighing, we're aiming for about 35g. measured of the cocoa mix per one serving.
Combine with 1¼ cups of milk of your choice (dairy or non-dairy).
Heat until warm and steamy—don’t boil.
Stir using the spoons provided.
Top with a festive vanilla bean marshmallow and a mini candy cane for peppermint flair.
Optional tasting experience
For an extra chocolate boost, drop 4 squares of the included single origin Ecuadorian chocolate bar into your hot cocoa and stir until melted.
You can also taste the bar on its own as you sip, exploring the notes and flavor journey of this special-origin chocolate. We chose to highlight Conexión Bullaranga 58% Chocolate. This Chocolate is “a symbol of the joy of the people of Esmeraldas, [this] Bullaranga 58% is as rawty and spontaneously delicious as it is rhythmic and delicate.”
How to fully enjoy your single origin Ecuadorian bar:
1. Look – Notice the shine and surface. Quality temper gives a beautiful gloss.
2. Snap – Break a piece. A clean, crisp snap indicates proper tempering.
3. Smell – Bring it close and breathe in deeply. Look for aromas like caramel, fruit, nuts, or warm spice.
4. Taste – Let it melt slowly on your tongue. Avoid chewing right away.
5. Notice the Notes – Pay attention to how the flavor develops—bright, earthy, creamy, fruity, or floral.
6. Sip & Compare – Alternate tasting the chocolate with sipping your hot cocoa to experience how the flavors interact and evolve.
In this chocolate, you should note “hints of tropical fruits, walnuts, macadamia, and floral notes that dance to the sensual flow of creamy caramelized milk chocolate and vanilla perfumes.”
